REFERRALS

We are here to help. To refer a non-emergent case, there are two options: fill out the referral form (link below) and send it directly to us through the website or you can print a form (link below) and fax or email it the specific location of interest: info.ca@veclinic.com for Calabasas and info.al@veclinic.com for Alhambra. If you are not sure if a case is emergent, give us a call and we can help you determine when your patient should be evaluated.

If you have a patient that is experiencing an ocular emergency during business hours that needs to be seen, please call our clinic directly to facilitate evaluation of the patient based on need (same day or following day).

If you have a patient that is experiencing an ocular emergency after business hours, please call our clinic (805) 371-0682 (for both the Alhambra and Calabasas locations) and follow instructions by pressing option 2 to be able to leave a voice message. The message should include: first and last name of the patient and owner, type of pet (including breed, age and sex), your name, a brief description of the emergency and best contact number to call you back. A message will be sent to the on-call staff who will contact you to determine the best course of action for your patient. We can discuss case management with you and determine if the patient needs to be seen after hours.
