Payment Options

Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients’ needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.

We accept debit cards, credit cards, (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), Care Credit, Scratch Pay and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.

We do not accept checks.

We offer senior citizen and military discounts. Our front staff can provide more detail for eligible clients.

Care Credit

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Veterinary Eye Clinic understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into monthly installments. You can either apply at our hospital, where we’ll call in your application over the phone for immediate approval, or apply yourself online at:

Pet Insurance

Another popular option for your family and pet is insurance coverage. Similar to health insurance for humans, there are many companies that offer varying plans to choose from. Most companies do not cover pre-existing conditions and have differences in the amount that is covered per illness or visit. Choose a company carefully as some companies commonly have breed exclusions and do not cover health issues associated with heritable diseases.

Although payment is expected when services are rendered, we make the exception on a case-by-case basis to accept pre-approved payments for a planned surgery directly from the patient’s veterinary insurance company. Please speak to the hospital manager at the location where the surgery will be performed for more details.
