Kaley Copeland, RVT
Inventory Manager
Kaley is a Northern California transplant who moved to SoCal to attend California Institution of the Arts, and after graduating from the dance department, needed a job. She got a part-time position as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic. Kaley quickly made her way to the back end of the clinic, where she fell in love with veterinary medicine. She has always been lucky to have the best mentors to teach her and trust in her. Primarily working in specialty clinics, she has finally settled on Ophthalmology and has not looked back. Kaley grew up in a family that loved animals, from horses and parakeets to cats, dogs, and squirrels. Critters have always surrounded her. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her dog, Taxi, and her three cats, Bebop, Lula, and Newspaper. She loves dancing, live bands, camping, her 1971 Super Beetle named Annette, Premier League, sleeping, and everything weird. She is also a proud member of the California Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps. Kaley’s favorite thing about being a veterinarian technician is that they do it all. Veterinary technicians are a special breed of person, and she is glad to be one.
